Actually, T, this is not dysfuntional at all! It's a very common phenomena really. Just ask SMW! I too was a Navy wife for 18 years and I served as Ombudsman at my H's last command (If you don't know already what that is, it's the official appointed liason between the command and the families of the crew). Anyhoo, in the training I got to do for that position, I learned that it's almost inevitable that fights escalate just before deployment. This makes it psychologically easier to say goodbye to your loved one. It's a coping mechanism!

So, you are not dysfuntional at all.......well, not in that way anyway! ;\)

Aaahhh, a new poster on my thread and you seem to be just as much as a smarta$$ as me ...LOL.
