Nlt,
How are you doing?

It's difficult when you have to return to the vet's w/your pet after losing one. Your vet and the staff actually became part of your family the day your dog first went there. Of course, they were emotional as well, as they grew to love your dogs and you for the caring "mother" you are to your pets. I do think that at some point in time, not right now, you may want to consider getting another dog for your pup to keep her company. Congratulations on the plumbing job! You are really learning a lot about repairs and you should be so proud of yourself. I bet your father and mother are proud of all that you've accomplished thus far!

Please be kind to yourself. Spend as much time as you can with your pup. She needs to know that you aren't going to leave her as well. Right now, she's grieving just as you are for your loved one.

Sit quietly, the answers will reveal themselves when you least expect them to.
The past is gone, the present is a gift and you need to focus on today, allow the future to reveal itself when it is ready.
