Hey Rob..

Wear a distinctive hat so we can pick you out in the crowd!

Thanks for the compliment about me being at peace. I still feel everything, get side swiped by it.. I'm even feeling anger (a good thing). The big change is that I get up faster, I recover faster. Just start reading, have a female talk buddy, create boundaries... it all helps you grow.

You're wonderful. Have a great time at the inauguration!

*hugs*

Rob,
Have a great time in DC, what an experience!
I think what you are feeling is normal and it just takes time. Of course dating is difficult, it just drives home that your M is over. You can't expect to feel comfortable right away. But do keep trying, it will get easier. Hey, and you can't expect to find someone special right away. All the duds will bring you one step closer to finding the right one. IMO it will be much easier when you are moved and settled.I think it will help you ease into your new life.

Hi Rob,

Glad to hear that things are moving forward with the house and
that you'll be in your new place soon. I've just started looking myself - and am thinking that the move will make a big difference in how I see my life - as it will be a space that my sons and I will call home - and decorate to our taste - should be very cathartic.

Looking forward to hearing about your trip - hope you managed to get some rest today!

-Carlos.
