Maybe I should get that. Ex brought S16 to do his fill in job for a friend of mine at the bank. He stood around like he was just waiting to launch into a conversation.
Just not good of him to do. I only had about 15 minutes left at work but still. I told him that not everyone functions or thinks the way he does. It isn't it just happened, it's over forget it. People have their own way of working through things. I said S13 has gone through alot. Ex, you didn't see him crying and not talking, so angry he was really trying to hurt his brother, or all curled up crying and shaking. Do you know what he is thinking? Tell me because I don't and I think we are pretty close. (S13 went through a bunch of medical stuff as a kid and it has really made him tough, he doesn't let much "pain" out).
I am past "us" but am angry that his choices still effect us. He was in such a hurry to get out of my life, then get out already. But he keeps making stupid choices. He says we should be able to talk about this. I told him yes, but he made a choice to not talk about any of it and now, NOW, he thinks I should be able to just talk to him about this. I told him to give me some solutions, we already know there is a problem.
He told me, maybe he needs to get up and ride the bus. Ok what that has to do with grades? I said everything was interconnected but don't see how he gets to school is the issue. It is huge for me if he misses the bus(he sits for 45 minutes waiting for school to start because the bus has to go pick up grade school kids)because I have to scramble to get him to school, the girls ready and still get them to their bus and then I have maybe 15 minutes to get ready.
I was not sweet and innocent in this conversation he insisted on having, but he had the balls to threaten me about increasing the time he has with the kids because he has such a bad relationship with them. Somehow, this is my fault.
Someone just give me a beer and get it over with!
