I have also been working out. I have been for 10 years or so, but only the past year where I truly developed consistency and have not allowed complacency to rob me of any gains I had made.

Continue to work on self help/spiritual development, which for me is something that goes hand in hand. I may fall off the horse, but I get back on. Like the gym, have kept all my gains which is very motivating to stay on track.

Re-discover my passion for music and started to (finally) learn how to play the guitar. I must have bought 20 CDs in the past month alone (the entire Palm Desert, CA music scene rocks - get into it, you will be much cooler!!! All hail Eagles of Death Metal, Queens of the Stone Age, Fu-Manchu, Kyuss, Nebula, etc)

I have joint custody of my son. Our relationship is growing so strong and I am so proud of who he is growing into. Such an amazing little kid, love him to death! We have lots of fun together. When he is over, my life is all Pixar movies, superheros, playdough, a couple more visits to McD's and Chuck E Cheeses than mom would probably like, and outtings to various kid friendly spots in the Phoenix area. We are having a blast! I will miss him when he goes off to school so I am soaking up this time as much as possible!

With 35th b-day around the corner, I have gotten in touch with my inner metro-sexual and have started using products I never dreamed I would ever use. But they work and my hair and skin look better than it has in years!

All in all, 2008 was a very rough year for me but I still managed to keep myself productive. No where to go but up in 2009 and I am (finally) genuinely happy with my life and have regained my overall optimistic world view. :-)
