See, can we get some ladies opinions here as this is the confusing part for me (and probably us men). Unless it's a specific surprise, I'm more inclined to suggest things to do and get agreement as this can go all a bit Pete Tong can't it ? or is it just the type or woman, i.e. some like it some don't ?
My STBX, always wanted me to be like this, loved it the times I did it, but it was like a high and she would then expect it all the time rather than the special one off.
Home last night with Caleigh..she has a bad cough, no fever..she's a trooper..she's my girl for sure..
Waiting on the weekend now..and helping plan our annual golf trip to Myrtle Beach at the end of February.. life continues to be good..waiting on Friday to get here..
well VST41 would like me to make the decisions on what we do simply because she is a teacher and a single mother of 3 girls and is making countless decisions day in and day out...that's what she says anyway..I guess we will evenutally see..
I like it when a guy makes some decisions. Especially in the beginning if he is asking ME out, I think he should have an idea of what he wants to do, where he wants to go. I am kind of traditional/old fashioned I guess. If you asked me to dinner and then you picked the restaurant, that would be great! In fact I always always wanted to have one of those 'surprise' weekends where you pack a bag but you don't know where you are going to go or what you are going to do....
I'm with BBJ here. I always wanted Gabe to make the decisions on what to do, where to go, etc. but he never would. I hated having to be the one to decide everything but since he wouldn't I didn't have a choice. I guess it's a good thing now since I'm doing it all on my own anyway. I already had practice!!

Ahhh..took Caleigh to daycare and got a call midday..she was running a fever. Kim and I had discussed that if Caleigh got worse then Kim would pick her up and take her to the Dr since Kim works in the city where the daycare is..so Kim picks her up and takes her..Dr. says it's a viral upper respiratory thing and writes a prescription for antibiotics and tells Kim if it's not gone by Sunday then get the script filled and start giving them to Caleigh..Kim and I talk after and I suggest to Kim that it may be better that she take Caleigh back tonight so Caleigh won't have to be taken out int he morning in 0-5 cold to daycare..Kim has the luxury of working at home if needed..so we thought that was best for Caleigh especially since she is sick and not feeling well. I've got Caleigh now while Kim is at a work function but will take her to Kim in a few hours and will get her back on Monday...
weekend plans are still in place and all is well with that..it should be a fun weekend..and exciting..
so..a break from the boards while I visited VST41..Went up on Friday afternoon and met her at her school and was introduced to some of her fellow teachers and friends...later on that evening we went out to eat with her best friend and BF's husband..had a great time with them..then on to a local high school basketball game...had a great time..saturday spent all day at a local AAU basketball tournament watching her younger daughter play..then later on in the day out with another of her best friends to help celebrate her friends daughters Birthday party.....Sunday..church together then to my mom's for Sunday lunch...had a great weekend..very relaxing and comfortable..
we are both committed to seeing how this goes and see great possibilities..
My life is good..
I'll try to get caught up on everyone else..
the co-parenting front continues to be good..I get Caleigh tonight while Kim goes out of town..Kim won't be back until Thursday
