Repairing a detached retina.

Oh heavens! That is pretty major isn't it?

My mom has diabetic retinopathy so she is at the surgeon every month or so having repairs done and shots in her eye (EEEWWW!!!!)

Yeah, it's an in-hospital surgery with full anesthesia.

Just got a text from him. He's awake and they said it went well. Of course they won't really know much more until the follow-up tomorrow. He's gotta stay out by the specialist's office for a few days. I am gonna drive out there Sunday after I get off work (got drill this weekend) to see him. Luckily I don't have anywhere to be on Monday until my class starts at 6 pm.

That's good that you can be there for him. How long as the retina been detached?

It tore sometime around Christmas.

Wish I could have been out there today. But life sometimes gets in the way. Damn school lol.

Can't believe the Bar exam is coming up so fast. Need to get a real good workout routine going next week when the gym goes back to normal hours to keep my stress level down.

He's in good humor tonight, although some of it might be the drugs LOL. R's follow up appointment is at 9 am.

I get to go to Bar prep lecture at 9 am. Just what I want to do on a Saturday. LOL. Ah well. Off to bed.

Well, had a crazy weekend between drill and Bar prep.

Didn't drive out to see R as he was approved to come home. So he got in yesterday afternoon. We had pizza for dinner last night while watching Grease, then crashed. We were both totally exhausted. He's going in to work for a partial day but is taking it easy this week.

I am working up the motivation to do a practice essay exam to turn in for grading tonight. It's slow going LOL.

Not much to post.

Sent H an e-mail about doing the taxes together for 2008 (if we file separately I can't write off any of my tuition and student loans UGH).

Working on the settlement agreement to send to H.

Things are okay with R. My schedule is all weird so haven't seen nearly as much of him as I'd like.

Just studying a LOT. I just keep telling myself it'll all be over in 6 weeks. Oh, and dangling my trip to Ireland in front of my nose like a carrot! LOL
