At least she knows where you stand. She will know you have changed for the better.
This may cause anger from her and she may not even acknowledge that you are a changed man, but that's OK.
You have a great Duck tail...you won't let whatever happens bother you.
You know you are a changed man, a better man, a great man. And the best is, a great father.
Who cares what the others think...??
