Hi Byron,

Your list of goals sounds really good.

Here is how I think of things, maybe it will help you, too. Someone here told me do not move on, move forward. The difference being, with moving on, you leave your X behind, while with moving forward, you keep living your life and doing well with the hope that she is moving along sort of parallel to you. Not really with you right now but out there next to you. Hope that makes sense. It really helps me to think this way. If I thought I had to leave H behind, I would not be doing a very good job of living my life.

As far as dating, it sounds like your coach has given you some good advice. Just make decisions based on what is best for you and what feels right in your gut.

V.

V. I like the "going forward, not moving on". That is a great thought. Guess that is what this is about.

X called today. It has been three weeks today since I have talked to her. Haven't tried to contact her, let her do it when she was ready.
Not sure what she had on her mind as I am on duty today and had to make it a short phone call. Asked about how she was, how her dad's surgery went and how the critters were. Then told her I need to go but if she wanted to call later I might have time.
I am sure that she is calling to tell me to get the rest of my stuff out of the house. Funny because that is exactly what I want to talk to her about. Not sure that is what she has to talk about and if it isn't I am going bring it up. Maybe it will make her think I am moving forward.
Guess I shouldn't have any expectations of what she wants to talk about. Pretty sure I am at a place within my self to deal with what ever she has to say.
I will post after I talk to her if she calls back tonight.
Thanks
B

LOL
As I expected X didn't call last night. Guess the only expectation I have lately is no action at all. That way when she does contact it is unexpected. Make sense?

Byron,

You are right. It is best to do all that we do with no expectations. You are doing a great job of keeping your PMA up.

Keep moving forward.

Hi guys.
I am doing well. Been keeping very busy on my days off. Spend a lot of time at the gym, angry workouts are the best:) Been out hanging with friends almost every night.
I am slowly detaching.
I relly like what you said about moving forward vs onward. Forward I go.:)

Byron,

Good to hear. Keep it up. Moving forward is the only option for any of us.
