I hear ya on the credit crunch Arthur. It's a complete disaster here too. I hope the news isn't too bad. A cut in pay would be preferable to being out of work entirely, right?

Well, not great news really, letting bout 45% go from June, but I get a decent redundancy if one of those. With the new job like 45 mins to an hour away anyway (I've yet to move to new office due to project I'm on), I'm happy to take a gamble and take the package (if it is what it seems, trying to speak to union now) and take my chances. Couple of months off in the summer, means I can take my boys away, go for mates 40th and then come back and start over. Just seems perfect timing for me with everything that has happened in the last 18 months...Completes the fresh start if you like.
Seeing MOT35 again tonight. She's coming over as got mates house for the week. Think my super happy jokey is confusing her a bit and she is not totally with it, but as said previously, this is me, I like me, so am just going with the flow.
