I noticed there are quite a few of us LBS's who are teachers. I have a theory. Teachers tend to be givers, so while we were giving what we thought was everything we could to our marriages, our spouses had other plans and left. We were left behind wondering what happened because we would have never made that choice, it was not in our nature...the nature that led us to become teachers in the first place.

I like that theory, being a teacher. Also on those personality profile things (I think Gary Smalley) I am always the 'golden retriever'. And H is the 'lion'. Polar opposites... His works for the sales floor, mine works for teaching children. But they aren't so great together...
Teachers are givers. And I am sure Mikey will find that out! (Thought I'd take us sub-level again)

well..I can tell you I've still not recovered from the UNC/ Wake Forest basketball game..3 hours sleep does that to you..hopefully I'll get a nap after work..
Virginiaschoolteacher41 wants to see me tonight and the feeling is mutual...this is something I think I will invest some time in. There's lots of chemistry there...and we both seem on the same page with our outlook on things and the speed at which things may progress...which we both think should be slow..
she's smart, intelligent..seems to have her head on straight..she's straight up and to the point, snarky..and slightly smart asssed at times...she hot..so hot I may need to buy a fireman's suit...and she sees me for what I am..we both have no expectations which is a good thing....she thinks I'm handsome and in her words gorgeous and tells me..she makes me feel good....
and for bonus points and what its worth..she knows what a love language is, knows what hers is..which has to be a plus IMO..at least I know at some point she has looked inward at herself...
Funny, but when I see Virginaschoolteacher41, it looks more like Virgin School Teacher 41. I take it that the interstate dating is not too bad driving-wise where you live.

there is a little distance thing there..I guess we are attmepting to see if that becomes or is a problem..there is a good halfway point for both of us where there is quite a bit to do as far as entertainment goes..and we met there the other night..and she is quite willing to do whatever to see where this goes..and TBH I feel we need to see..
she loves sports...loves golf..loves the outdoors and beach..she is devoted to here daughters..has a great relationship with her ex and his wife..have not ask her about the fishing...
after 3 hours sleep last night anything that happens to still be moving though my system...is a good thing..
