if you want to throw every man and woman into a generalized catagory go right ahead...but I will tell you of my h...when he lived at home..his room had no such things in it...when he moved out his room had no such things in it...not even the bathroom...he has his own shop...a garage (actually two of them) these are landscapers and sure I'd assume to see something there at least a calendar...but nothing...not even amongts the stack of magazines on the bathroom floor (as stated before, even when h doesn't expect me there, the magazines are sports oriented or landscape equiptment oriented) the posters on the wall are all business oriented, the trucks are free of such stuff, the desk and puter are free of such stuff.
Now would the rest of the crew perhaps like to have some stuff there? maybe maybe not, do they tell dirty jokes? sure...does my h listen to them? sure..does he laugh? probably...is he typically the deliverer of such jokes? probably not.
Not all men are like that and mine simply isn't...would I be bothered if he was? well since I am typically one to tell such jokes...it would be nice on occassion to know that your h isn't a prude..and as far as calendars and such...well h may never have hung one but my mom gave me a signed men in motion calendar for my 15th birthday! wich I reluctantly hung in my bedroom.
as far as being politically correct in not saying such jokes around women? well perhaps in some circles but not in the world I live in...I am not a prude and people know it...I hear the jokes, I tell the jokes, I hear the comments, I make the comments...h is typically a bystander.
is he hiding something from me? would be pretty stupid of him to do now wouldn't it!
