Am I eternally hopeful or in denial....?

Hi, Glam!

Today I am feeling really good and not having a problem at all with "unconditional". I even teased H last night and told him if he wanted a "conjugal visit" don't hesitate to call, because I'm beginning to feel deprived! I said so long as he was not "active" with someone else and thereby exposing me to something, I wouldn't spit in his eye! He just looked at me funny and said "OK, I'll keep that in mind." I said, "What can I say, I'm in a really weird mood tonight!" He smiled a little and said "That's obvious." I know my attitude definitely caught him off guard and he wasn't sure how to handle it, but I think throwing him off kilter is not such a bad thing!

Anyway, I am really going to keep no expectations. I told H we were going to dinner tomorrow and he was welcome to join. He said he didn't have any other plans. So, unless something else comes up, I guess he'll be there. But if he doesn't, that's OK too.

And he definitely needs to think. I did break DB and asked him if OW is now officially not doing any more work for him. She was doing some things still on part time basis while he found another assistant. He said yes, that OW was officially gone, but that he would likely receive an invite to her son's 2nd birthday party. I asked if he would go, and he said "Probably not." I left it at that.

I did get to meet his new assistant. She seems really nice and happily married. And H says that she is the absolute best assistant he has ever had. (so that would include OW)

I'm feelin' good!!
