Another thing, when I found the marriage license and learned of her H's name, I told my H that I knew his name but did not tell him how I found out. A day or so later, H told me that was not her H's name. That she was married to that person but he died. She since re-married. Well according to the marriage licenses that are public record, he was the last one she married.
Are death records public in your state? You may want to check that out. I have a feeling as you do, that he is lying, but never hurts to double check.
