Nope. No reason for contact, and I can't think of any info I'd need from her that I couldn't find somewhere else.

OK, now I've just been included on an email to "undisclosed recipients" from her that her cell phone number has changed. That doesn't affect me either, since it was a pay-as-you-go plan.

Jimbo,

I'm a fisherman, You know what I just love to do? Set the hook as hard as I can on a big hungry fish.

Seriously, If there is no need to contact her to complete the taxes, then I wouldn't. If you need any info. from her then you will have to at some point.

Next : You can be thoughtful, and simply say thanks for the reminder, I'm working on it. OR Just do it, not say a word about it and let her spin : I'm wondering if Jimbo got my message? Boy, I sure hope he is taking care of this? Man, I wish I knew?

Catch my drift?

I could let her spin easier if it weren't for the way I went dark. I told her that I'd let her know when I was available again. Her not contacting me for anything could just be her trying to respect my wishes.

If I acknowledge the email, I lose the mystery.

If I don't acknowledge, I send the message that there is no way for her to reach me, even IF she wants to, and she may give up completely.

I am going to have to contact her about regular income taxes sooner or later, to see how she wants to file for 2008...

Hey goofball ! ( youre favorite nickname from me )

Didn't we discuss the income taxes ? You are spinning right now. And regardless of "how" you went dark, you did. And when the time is right for her? She will respond to you whether or not you asked her not to. When she misses that Masonry hat that you have, she'll be around. Not to make light of this, but it will happen when it is time to happen. Remember, this is HER parade of fools right now.

All of this Tax stuff is a memory creeping in her head. One of which she probably feels guilty for leaving you with. Relax bro...and get off the wheel.......

What dots are you seeing right now?

I hear they have really good coffee in SouthEast VA....Is this true?

Ah, Mach. (Or should I say "Rock"?)

Good to hear from ya. I hope you're doing better- I really didn't want to get you caught up in MY madness right now, but I'm glad you chimed in.

Yes, I was spinning- big time. And I had a HUGE revelation because of it.

Funny you should ask that! I think this little spin of mine might have been a blessing in disguise- during the time that I was spinning on her, us, our sitch, the way she's been acting, etc. etc. etc, I was blessed with a mental vision where all the dots connected for one shining instant: in my mind's eye, I got an ever so brief first-person glimpse into what it must be like to be in her shoes right now....

She's on a mission, and I'm in the way.

And our marriage is in the way.

She wants to break free of her old self and anything that she perceives as trying to keep her in that role. Guess who's target #1?

Old hum-drum, boring Jimbo. WHY ON EARTH would I want to be tied down to THAT guy for the rest of my life? That's a DEATH SENTENCE! I have to get away- to express MY identity, to get what I want out of MY LIFE! And HE'S HOLDING ME BACK!!!! AAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ABSOLUTELY MUST GET AWAY AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!!!!!!! Screw him if he thinks I'm gonna hang around with him, going absolutely nowhere!!! I'M OUTTA HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This vision was so real to me that it gives me a whole new appreciation from her perspective of how to approach this whole thing, and it explains A LOT of her behaviors and things she has said in the past- but it's a gameplan that will take a lot of faith, and it's not for the squeamish. I need to think on this for a little while. It's pretty radical.

All true, bro...thanks for the wake up call.

Not only is there really good coffee in SouthEast VA, I know for a fact that there is an absolutely awesome steak house in the Norfolk/VA Beach area! Voted best steak in the area for at least 20 years straight, I understand...
