Job hunting right now is terrible. Big companies all around Madison are laying off as well. I think it's bad all over. I've had to do some jobs I didn't enjoy just for the money until I could find something else. There is a company called Westat that lets you work from home, calling people and asking them research questions for a study they are conducting. I had to do one for smoking once. It wasn't a job I wanted to do long term, but I could work from home, and I could do it when my son was sleeping. YOu have to work a minimum of 15 hours and it is mainly evening and weekend hours. Check it out if you are desperate. Again, short term it helped pay the bills. You can google it and find it.
