oh, and I don't think it's $$ that is the problem with the catholic church, it's just tradition. there are more catholic churches now that are getting the congregation more personally involved with each other these days though. It's very easy, as it seemed to me when I was going to mass, that you can get by with going to mass every week and not know very many people. They don't have an emphasis on fellowshipping and I think that's part of the problem. I do however know a few very evangelical type catholics that have great R's with Christ, but they are also the ones that are involved in everything, and/or lead the groups. They are doing more though, just depends on the church, the older ones, not so much, the new ones, yes.
