As a parent, I don't rely on the wife to try to keep up with the ongoings of the kids and I don't expect her to tell me. I'm talking about stuff that would be general knowledge, that could be found on the district/school website.

Now if I find something out that she doesn't know about or something important was sent in the kids folder during the week that I have them, then I'll let her know about a teacher requested conference or something that comes up and I do expect the same from her. But as far as the daily stuff that happens at the house, I don't really tell her and she doesn't really tell me.
