Sheesh oh petie!!! Any woman who wants to be with a man who still lives with his XW2B, has the nerve to show up at family functions during the holidays, and doesn't mind waiting in the car while he runs in the house... just HAS to have problems. If your X2B thinks that R is going to work he is delusional.
BTW, the way I dealt with my H wanting more custody is I refused anything less then an 80/20 split. Then I gave him the choice of which one he wanted. Fortunately the idea of me handing over the kids, and flying off to Florida to go live my fantasy life on the beach... writing novels, sipping margaritas, and dating hunky surfers almost caused him to have a heart attack.
There is no arriving, ever. It is all a continual becoming.
