Sweetie, I promise it will. You won't be consumed by it anymore. Life will start to have meaning besides your ex and what he does everyday. You will actually notice other people(guys) and slowly start to wonder again if they are all like ex.(A secret, they aren't. There are really good guys out there, that don't believe you should get kudos for being faithful, that's just how you should be!!) There will still be moments of sadness but you will begin to see your life as clay that YOU get to mold anyway you please.

I'm in about the same place you are I think. Yeah, you've been replaced by a ho. A definite downgrade. And then they'll break up and your H will be begging you to R with him.
The one good thing is I don't think H would take skank around me. B/c I would kick her a**!!! I'd like to think I would anyway!!!
I have the kids this year but I guess H will have them next year. I'm thinking about doing something crazy next year like go on a road trip or something. I had a wonderful Christmas morning waking up with D5 to find that Santa had come!! She was super cute and tore into everything. She had to wear every new outfit and pj's that day. She makes me laugh.
kat-The whole thing does consume me every minute of every day. Once everything is final, at least I will have answers on custody but I will still be living with him unless we can sell our house. I NEED for him to be out of here and stop trying to control me.
karen-I do tell stbx to keep the ho away from me but her skankiness seeps into the air even when she has to stay in the car in the driveway!

I'm sure she's right on about that. My theory, which I'm sure is right , is that at some point your inside (good, evil, or in-between) shows up on your face at some point. I think OP's tend to have some unpleasant internal qualities, and that shows up, ages them, makes them look unattractive... Karen
