Cinders, I understand how you feel...my parents don't think I should start dating...

Glad you had some time off for yourself.

I know how hard it is to move on. I don't know if your H has been suffering from depression. Only he knows that. You must now think of yourself and not allow yourself to sink into anything too deep. The thing is, you are moving forward...and you are consciously letting go. That is a hard thing. You are letting go of all your dreams of the future that you had with your H.

But, you know what, sweets? There are so many other things in your future...things you could not imagine! yes, even LOVE.

As for your dad...hmmmm...well I agree with Snodderly that all this time may have left him with time to think, about your mom, your H, etc...just take it with a grain of salt. I think your parents are also letting him go in their own ways...
