Today has not been a good day for me! My oldest dog is in the hospital tonight. She was not eating & I could tell she was weak so I called my vet & he said I should take her here. I didn't get to see the normal vet that I always see but the woman was nice but said she felt like she needed to be put on fluids & kept over the weekend. I'm not crazy about her staying all weekend so I will go see her tomorrow & see about bringing her home to my parents house. I cried all the way home!!!! According to her blood work she is pretty sick right now & they said if she didn't get help she wouldn't make it another week. I called my vet in Nashville & he told me to tell them to also put her on antibiotics so maybe all this will help. I miss her so bad & sure do wish my H was here to help me with this!!
I called them a little bit ago & they said she was resting & doing great right now, so I'll go visit tomorrow & see how she is doing. I dread the day that I have to give her up, especially with H not here. Last time we lost a dog we were together & helped each other. Ok, we won't think about giving her up right now!! I just can't!
