(((Ms M, Mishka, T, R2G)))

Happy New Year to all! Thank you all for your good wishes.

H news, I got a 'Happy New Year!' text, twice actually but that may have been a network thing. I don't know if he texted me specifically or he texted everyone in his phone book but still, a text, I am not assuming \:\) I replied when I got in (at 4.30 in the morning!) saying 'Happy New Year, I hope you had a good one'.

I had a really good new year. I went down to stay with my friend as I wanted to be somewhere totally different as last year new year was so depressing I thought it would be better to be totally away and I'm so glad I did. We went clubbing on New Years Eve. At about 2 in the morning I was sitting having a rest when this *really* gorgeous guy came over and asked me to dance. I was reluctant as I was tired but he dragged me up and we danced and then started chatting. We then went outside and chatted a while and were having a really interesting convo. He was a gentleman and didn't try anything - apart from giving me his coat to keep me warm - even though everyone else was kissing etc all around us and asked if he could give me his number. So I took it and then said I had to get back to my friends (so not dumping them for some guy!). They all said how nice he was as he had introduced himself to them before we went off. The next day they persuaded me to text him (unknown for me to do this as I would have just not). So I did and he answered straight away. So I practised my text flirting and he wants to take me out when I am next down there or when he is next in London. How exciting! I didn't think I was going to stand a chance that night as the club was full of tiny, gorgeous, immaculate girls in teeny dresses and all about 21. So that was exciting!

I'm looking forward to this year and what it will bring. I have a feeling it is going to be a good, but challenging year. The good news is that this year I am looking forward to a New Year, not dreading it like last year \:\)

On the h front my plan is to wait for him to make contact with me and if, after 2 weeks, there is nothing I will initiate as I don't want the mortgage holiday to drag on. However I think a text at Christmas and New Year is a good sign. I didn't expect them and he didn't have to...

Good for you Julia!!!! Sounds like you had an absolutely FAB time NYE!!!! How fun to have met a really hot guy who was also gentlemanly. Very, very nice! How far from London were you? You're a hottie so it doesn't surprise me at all that he chatted you up. Men don't want silly, floozy, 21 year olds!

Good plan on the H front too. 2 week is long enough where a mortgage holiday is concerned. All that interest not getting paid is a little unnerving to me.

(((Mishka)))

I've said yes to the mortgage holiday for one month so we need to have plan by the end of Jan. So If I contact him mid Jan it should give us enough time.

Thank you \:\) Unfortunately he is two hours away which is *really* far in British terms!!! \:\)

Hey Julia, wow you sound positive! Good for you! I am positively jealous that your H initiated the text with you BOTH important days.. christmas and New Years Eve !!!

So.. would you consider going on a date with this guy? 2 hours IS a long way in the UK, lol, but not too far, hey, especially if he is that good looking. And you were looking pretty foxy too in your latest pics, so dont do yourself a disservice (like the blunt cut fringe/bob thing you have going on!)
