Somehow I think Ex would have a hissy over that. Just 7 more years for S8 to be 15 and then none of them won't have to go unless they want to.

Seems we are tied to them even though we don't want to be just because of biology!! Ok, this is a New Year. I am going to try really hard to just ignore his cr@p, get on with finding myself and getting rid of all of his stuff. I don't need to store it, I am not his mother after all.

I watched a bit of 'Hope Floats' last night. Paraphrasing what she told her H, I got the best part of my wife. I got two beautiful girls. And I have my stepson.

I've told my H the same thing. The very best part of my H and myself lives within our 2 beautiful children. They were wanted and created out of love...how can that be bad?

And that's the thing even though our WAS may marry the OW that broke up our marriage ( well the two of them did I guess), how likely is it that marriage will be happy long-term or last? I mean we had good starts to our marriages, and you know how that worked out! And they started with cheating, lying, breaking up families, etc. The OW in my case has already been married 3 times, do you think that all of a sudden my H will become the perfect H for her? And if these guys want skanky hos then obviously we are not the right women for them!

God help him if he does marry her. He is not Mr. Right, he is Mr. Rightnow and he is not perfect and she will see that. JMHO...any R that begins with lying and cheating is doomed to fail. As wonderful as it seems, at what point will they each begin to wonder about the other? Where they are, who their with etc... Karma is a bitch, man.

2008 is over. Thank God. 2009 is full of endless possibilities, we just have to see where it takes us. How freakin' Pollyanna is that?

Couldn't agree more S&S. I would suspect, the first time one of the affair partners goes out without the other and is a little late coming home, that's when the doubt starts.

You should have seen the look on my W's face when I told her that her OM was lying to her last fall when he'd told her he was going home to talk to his W about a D so my W and he could be 'together forever'. She actually believed him when he made up some story about the timing not being right for them to talk and he'd do it in a few weeks. Well, I confirmed with OMW that he hadn't even went home that weekend and was probably with his new GF. So anyway, I ramble, but when I told W what I knew, she was just stunned. Not sure why though....the guy she's cheating on me with, cheated on her? There's a surprise.

But that can't be right, they're soulmates....bleech.

Its just so odd that people that are lying to their spouses about an A could actually believe that they are not/would not be lied to... My H was the same way. When the Troll came up with an STD that only she had, he had the hardest time with how it could have happened. Then was MAD AS HELL that she had lied to him and cheated on him, huh? If it wasn't so sad, it would be INCREDIBLY funny. Fogged thinking is just scary.

I am sick again, darn it. Started to not feel good yesterday but thought I would try work. I told my boss it took me looking at his business card order for over 10 minutes to make me realize that I wouldn't be much use today, especially since I deal with lots of numbers. I came home and slept for a few hours, took some medicine and started to feel better but I am now getting chills again. Back to the hot tea and meds.

I did watch Wedding Date last night. I did watch that before. I knew I remembered that one scene. It was interesting watching it this time b/c the first time I thought her X was still in love with her, but this time I knew what was really going on. I missed the last part though, b/c I fell asleep! I'm going to have to watch it a 3rd time for the last part now...
