But when I read your last post I just had to say RUSH ROCKS! My favorite band also! And I raised my boys well. S20 really likes them and S16 thinks they're the greatest band on earth. And he agrees with you, Neil is a drum god. I've seen them in concert 6 times, most recently in Aug 07.

Yeah, all they need now is a lead singer who doesn't sound like a helium-induced housecat suddenly thrown into the blender. ;\)

I am the same age but I could never get into that group. I was a Hard Rock fan...and Pink Floyd of course. I could not get past the voice of RUSH's lead singer.

Pup and ILF, Geddy Lee is a large reason that makes them so unique. The music, the lyrics, Neils drumming, Geddy's voice....

10 years eligible, I think, and NOT in the Hall yet is a crime.

I did like Pink Floyd, but I just never got into all their stuff. I can remember listening to 'Dark Side of the Moon' and '2112' several times together....

well actually I DON'T remember much of those times because we were smoking A LOT.

I do remember saying, "Duuude!" and "Wo!" way too many times. ;\)

I liked a lot of them.

Nirvana, Alice in Chains, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden. I got into all of them.

A favorite? Soundgarden was a little harder, and anything with Chris Cornell just rocks, man.

But I do like them all.

I didn't care for grunge 90s, sorry. At that time, I was more into CHR stuff like the Gin Blossoms.

The Gin Blossoms were ok but those grunge guys rewrote rock the way we knew it.

I remember a quote from Mike Reno of Loverboy, who I was really into in the 80's. I was one of the first one's in my group to have their first album. That was a good one.

Paraphrasing him, "We were doing really well, and then Nirvana came along and just killed us." Something along those lines. \:\)

You and your abbreviations.

Your going to have us all scratching our heads.
CHR?
