Hi all,
I didn't want to post this because I really didn't believe it, but I will fill you in now. Now, don't get your hopes up that H and I have reconciled...Just wanted to let you know that up front.

H and I have been spending lots of time together. We spent Christmas together. On Christmas morning after everyone had opened their presents H had me a piece of paper and said, "Here is the rest of your present" I opened it up and it was a SUV invoice. He explained that they would probably have to do a dealer transfer to get the one that he wanted for me. I started crying. I don't know that it was so much because I was getting a new car or if that he actually seemed to be softening towards me.

He stayed Christmas Eve and Day and night with me. After that he was absent quite a bit. I really wasn't counting on the SUV. Today I went to the city where the dealership was located to go shopping. I called him and asked him if he had heard anything about the transfer. He said no, he hadn't had time. I explained that I was in the vicinity of the dealership and he told me to stop by and check. They didn't have the exact one that I wanted, but one very close to it. They insisted that I take it home and keep overnight to let H see it. H said it was up to me, but if I liked it then he said go for it. He gave me a blank check and told me to go back to the dealership and see if I could get them to change the tires out. So looks like I have new SUV.

So what color is your pretty new SUV? Is it what you wanted or just what he picked out for you? I am really happy for you!

Thanks Everyone,
I hope you all have a very happy new year also. I'll make a toast to you all at midnight. Here's to hoping that 2009 is abundant in many good things!

The SUV is a white Yukon Denali with all of the bells and whistles. I was torn between a SUV and a car. He picked it out for me, I'm not complaining. It's fun figuring out how everything works. It's really fun that it has a remote start. It's fun to walk across the parking lot and start my car before I get there. Yes, I'm easily entertained. LOL
