After the vehicle my beloved bride is driving was hit in the parking lot, she called the insurance company (naturally) and explained that we were getting a divorce and that she no longer lives at home. Well now! She forgot to tell them that when she moved out, so now I get a call from the insurance company informing me that my rates are going up because we no longer qualify for the multi-car discount since the car she is driving has been moved to a new location. So the question is- do I send her the bill for the difference that was newly created by her actions or do I eat it? (I have already paid the original balance for both cars for this year.)
Sending her the bill might serve as a reminder of the reality of what she's doing, but it might also piss her off. And since I'm dark, I don't want her one and only contact with me in the past 2 months to be a negative memory.
