W has been watching the kids in the moring, they are still off school, babysitter shows up at 11:30 and W leaves, Babysitter stays till I get home at 5:00
Today get call at work, D7 got attached by dog over at W apartment, neighbors dog, 99% sure clawed her 10 stiches to her head, D9 pulled D7 to saftey, W was there but how close I don't know. Not much I could do, W took D7 to emergency room and they took good care of her, D7 is home and resting. W said it was neighbors dog, kids always play with the dog, but got spooked for some reason today.
W has been sending me e-mails, (15 on Saturday alone) you know the ones that say they are sending it out to their friends or ones that say stuff like your being blessed or live life to the fullest, etc. She sends them to a group of people, I just delete them, but noticed OM e-mail address only on one from Saturday, typically OM e-mail address is on every e-mail - wonder if something is going on, feel another new addreviation SLB skank and loser breakup just wondering

Sorry about your D7! It's horrifying to have kids get stitches!!! Hope he will feel better soon. Maybe your W can supervise any future playdates with the dog and D7 if they have any that is???
Happy New Year to you too! I can't wait for 2009 either--only a few hours yet if we can make it. We just played go fish, and made cookies, and ate a few. Are you having as wild & crazy New Year's as me!!! I hope so! Funny, but I do feel like the new year is kind of a fresh start, new beginnings and all that. I hope we will all have a happy and fun New Year all year long!!! Karen
Thanks Karen, I'm also having a wild & crazy new years eve. Baths for the kids, cleaning dinner dishes, will sit down shortly and watch a movie, have a beer and head to bed.
I too have the feeling that 2009 is a new start form me, D paperwork should be done and over in January and then I'm on my own (so to speak)

Man, we're all a bunch of wild and crazies, aren't we? I played whiskey poker and Crazy 8s with my boys, and we made a bunch of snacks and watched "Get Smart" on OnDemand. Let them stay up late and watched the ball drop. It's a yearly tradition, they enjoy it, and it will be our last together as an intact family, so I was determined to make the most of it.
Next year, I'm thinking of staying in, running with scizzors, taking two Sudafed and operating heavy machinery. Then I'm going to cut all the tags off my mattresses, pillows and chair pads.
My crazy night consisted of going to work at 6pm for the Greenwich new year at 7pm. Had to make sure that we didn't have any inserted leap-second issues on our GPS clocked equipment.
Then I got my kids from MIL. D fell asleep by 9:30. S and I watched the ball drop eating chips and dip. Looked at some old pictures and put in our new DVR for On Demand from DirecTV. Exciting times. But I enjoyed it.
D7 doing ok, D9 has basketball tournament today at 1:00, W called at 10:30am to check on D7, she was yawning so I guess she went out last night.

I stayed up till midnight, went outside to watch all the fireworks, first words out of my mouth in 2009 were "God Bless"
Its now 2009 what do we do we are making our lists of things to start anew We all have the same wish that 2009 brings us hope for a new life a new love for we have all been hurt and have survived the pain its now time to move on and build our lives again We begin to write a new book how each new chapter unfolds only God truly knows So here is my wish for you that 2009 fills your life with joy happines, friendship and love.
