Heard from a good F friend that W has said she has told the K's about the A. I have my doubts what in fact she told them, if anything. She said she told her parents in July, but when I finally talked to them in early Dec, I learned this was NOT the case at all.
Anybody else had this experience?
Sure; it's script. 90%+ of the time, she has either:
1) Told them NOTHING, and is just lying about it; or
2) Told them a TOTALLY spun version of it. "Your dad and I have been having problems for a long, LONG time. We've both tried very hard to work at it, but sometimes moms and dads just can't make it work. Mommy found a friend to talk to, and even though he's just a friend, that was probably wrong and I shouldn't have done that. Daddy thinks I like this man as a boyfriend, but I don't, and that's what we're arguing about all the time."
Blah, blah, blah.
I can state with 100% certainty that she has NOT told them the full truth, even in an age-appropriate manner.
