That's it exactly Amy. Heros do not "try" to be a hero. It just happens. You are also right that the White Knight thing won't work. Being the "Ordinary man" is what all of us need to be. The stable rock that a familiy's foundation is built upon is the greatest accomplishment anyone could aspire to.
PS Frank, I pictured you standing on your porch belting that song out. It was a very troubling visual......
