Christmas Eve: I took the Ds to Christmas Mass. The Ds asked H to go, but it was late afternoon and he was still "working." I had made our traditional Christmas Eve pork dinner. The Ds wanted H there so I let them invite him. H came and thanked me more than once for the dinner. H had brought over his gifts for the Ds and me to put under the tree. D wanted him over in the morning to open gifts. I figure this will be our last Christmas as H and W so I allowed it.
CHRISTMAS DAY H came over in the morning and was here when he said he would be. We opened our gifts and I was surprised that H had bought a new camera for me. I have a nice one already, but this is slim and more easily carried. It was Ds idea I guess. I drove seperately to his parents' house to watch Ds open gifts and get mine. Didn't tell them I wasn't going to his aunt's for the family dinner. Drove home when it was time to go to the aunt's. FIL called about 15min. later but I sent it to VM. They "all" wanted me to come. I didn't acknowledge the call. H brought the Ds home and everyone is in a good mood.
