Alex - my WAW is identical to everything said above. The only difference is she go out early on and filed for a D in January. After a couple months of legal bills and my threat that I fight this Divorce for years if I have to - she convinced me to take it to mediation and we agreed on a 12 mos separaion - except that In June 2009 she can simply file a piece of paper and we are divorced.
But the legal separation in her mind is already divorced and she can have the affair guilt free. I keep trying to remind her that there is a difference between legal and moral - why she can legally do what she wants, morally it is wrong. Trying to have her see the light that the OM convinced her to giveup her D3 1/2 the time for the rest of D3 life. Is that really worth the affair.
It is a lost cause as long as there is OM - I have no chance to repair our marriage.
