Karen, I just watched a movie that my daughters rented tonight. It's called "Women". I suggested to Kat it may be something you both might like for movie night. It's got a pretty good message. One that we all can relate to.
Hugs, Yoyo

Yoyo thanks again! I returned my movies this am so am hoping to get it Friday. Also, H calls this am on my voicemail, asking for the kids tonight. Last week he had emailed me that he wanted Wed. night and Friday, Saturday and Sunday. I mean this is the guy that when he started seeing them 10 hours a week when he moved out my D9 said she was happy b/c she was seeing him more than when he lived with us! I emailed back he can have tonight, but then he needs to give up either Friday or Sunday with the kids, which was D9's idea b/c she wants to see me too. Honestly, I think all his thoughts are centered around himself even at Christmas. I will continue to pray for him, but it doesn't seem to be helping much!!!
Need to clean all day today, and get some last minute gifts. For the kids' Chrismtas gift to their dad, D9 painted him a picture and I bought some foam bookmarks and foam markers for them to decorate and give him as well. Need to go today and get him something from them for his birthday I realized which is the 30th. Hopefully they can find something that's not super $$$ but that he would like. I don't plan on worrying too much about that! Karen
Saturday sounds good to me if ok with you and Yoyo! I should def. have it by then even with any Christmas delays. H is going to have the kids so I will be free & single Sat. night. Karen
I saw your post too late last night, Kat. I watched Mulan with D9 instead. But it was fun. Just got back from the Christmas Eve service. Good to see my friends (and several people I've never seen before at the church! . Several said they saw H pick up the kids about 10 minutes into the service. He normally picks them up close to 7 so they would have been there most or all of the service then. Kind of a waste and embarrassing the way it turned out. Oh, well.
Well, I'm not one to gossip (well maybe I am a little ) but one of my friends was there tonight (the theatre director) and OW's Ds have been involved with the theatre for several plays. I knew she was married several times, but he confirmed that she's been married 3 times. And of course she cheated on the 3rd with my H, so not thinking she's learned much of anything. I do believe my H is crazy!!! I'm the death until you part kind, but I guess maybe he just wants to lead a single life or thinks he'll be lucky number 4 or something!
Well, we had wrapped up all of H's homemade gifts (a painting from D9 and the bookmarks they decorated for him.) We went to the store today for last-minute gifts, great time to buy Christmas stuff today b/c it was half off and still good selection. They had some angel tree ornaments each had a theme like: peace, joy, love, new beginnings, etc. D9 picked the peace one for our tree and one with Mark 9:23 Jesus said to him, If you can believe, all things are possible to him that believes. for H's tree. Don't think it will do anything, b/c you have to have an open heart, but I don't think anyone can say I haven't tried... Hope everyone is having a great night tonight!!! I'm just going to wrap up the Santa gifts and stockings (I'm Santa's helper you know Kat) Karen
OK, just to add to all the weirdness we've had around here lately. Guess who was nice to me tonight???? H!!! It was a Christmas miracle! He wasn't acting distant or mean, but like he used to years ago, when he would joke and kid and be nice. I too am thinking it's just some weird Christmas thing. Guess even Grinches can be nice at Christmas time??? Karen
Hey, sweet lady, I just wanted to wish you a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. May all the joys of these holidays be filled in your heart (which is as ever three sizes larger than normal).
