ANM, Regarding the money, and who owes who what - a very wise pastor counselor confirmed what I already decided - to treat the money he "owes" like the way we treat rent. That it's just used up and gone. I felt God was leading me to just let it go, and so I did. It's not important to me anymore. Thought I'd share what I did in my situation.
