I know it would be hard to not talk to him or see him at all, especially having to tell him when he called me at work that I can't talk. But if it got him to a place where he realized what he is going to lose, it would be worth it. It will be the hardest thing I have ever had to do, but I do believe the time is approaching...unless a Christmas miracle occurs! I do Believe!
You are strong, I know you could do it. It doesn't seem like he has any concept yet of reality. He is still operating with you as his safety net.
