Had a typical convo tonite. With Hawaii cancelled, the idea was to take k's to Arizona to vac property. I would take them for a few days and then W and I would switch but S13 would come back with me for hockey.

Well, didn't work out due to timing b/c k's want to go see cousins at IL's place at Xmas.
I was staying here.

Well today I decided that I was going to go to AZ myself for a few days. So I went to W.

Me: W, have you decided when you and k's are coming back from IL's?

W: no, why?

Me: well I decided to go to AZ and I want to kno when k's will be home so I can plan flights accordingly.

W: you are going? With who?

Me: for now just me.

W: well what if k's and I were going down?

Me: well I guess we will all be there together.

W: whatever

Me: ok thanks

I leave but S13 calls me a few minutes later saying mom wants to talk to you.

W: that was really selfish. All about you again

Me: not sure what you mean W. You and k's are going to IL's and my mom and sister have other plans Xmas day so I decided to go to AZ.

W: well what if k's and I were not staying at IL's. But carrying on to AZ

Me: well after disc the other day that was not the plan so I decided to go anyway.

W: sure all about you once again.

Me: don't know why you think that W but believe what you want.

Some other banter - more of the same. Was accused of "going behinh her back" in talking to the k's about AZ - well that is what she wanted me to do (talk to the k's about it) but I guess she forgot about that part.

Me: I am going to my office downtown

W: actually I am going out. I made my plans before you did.

Me: I have to go grab my cmpt

W: I made plans and you have to stay home.

Me: oh I see - all about you eh?

W: yup this time it is.

W then calls D11 and says to call her if they are left alone. D11 says it is early, S13 is home and I have 2 friends over - we'd be fine. W says call me if you are left alone.

I tell W I will be home in 20 minutes. W leaves. I say to D11 I will be right back. Her response - "no problem dad".

Typical typical typical.

I booked my flights tonight.
