karen, I know that D11 knows about Santa, Easter Bunny, Tooth Fairy.....

She just doesn't let ME know she knows. A couple years ago, she questioned Santa and I told her, "Well, if you don't believe, we'll just wait and see if you get anything."

Now THATS warping them.

Don't know if you remember, but the talk I had with her at my monms house, just after the wife moved out, I was telling D11 how I'll always tell her the truth....

That was the first thing out of her mouth. "Okay, is Santa real?"

I don't remember what I told her, but I somehow deflected it. I think I said something like, "Santa is real if you want him to be."

You are one of those cases where I just believe that you are better off without your H, karen. He just treats you badly and sounds like he has for some time now. You know the kind of mother you are. He is just used to you handling everything. Let him handle some responsibility. Don't let him lead you to believe that you are anything less than a great mom.

We are not perfect parents. And he is not even 1/4th the parent you are.

Now go have a bit of chocolate and don't let him control your emotions.
