days journal:

busy day with not much sleep but I completed the car transfer to my buddy who was in need of wheels. He is a member of the group of Christian "standers" that i got turned on to from FaithfulH on here. He hasn't seen or heard from his W (legally xW) in about 5 years I think.

I was sorry to ahnd off my "baby" even if only temporarily. I have had that car for as long as I have been w/ my darling. '95 VW Jetta. I have amassed 237,000 miles on 'er (well I was responsible for about 160k of those) but still that is a lot of motoring. For now she is still runnin strong as I have maintained it real well.

And then my buddy helped me finally fasten down the anchor bolts for my truck cap so that the fairly new and shiny cap doesn't go sliding off into the roadway. I tried to do it but got to frustrated the other day, so it was nice having his help. Just another example of the body of Christ at work. Even if in small means. \:\)

Time to head to the airplane. Finally a fairly clear night. Which means I will be able to peer down on DD15 from the night sky and wave and smile. A tear usually comes upon me to. She is just a phenomenal kid and I love her. *smile*
