I've always wondered the same thing. It is a cute little town. Then again, it is pretty cut off from everything. The closest "big" town is where I live, 2 hours and in the winter time with slides and such on 101 you can't count on getting here. The other direction is Grants Pass and that's about 3 hours and there again, weather depending.
Eventually the college will have a campus there, they already own the property.
