Kerry - I read your post and had to look up the weather myself. I thought we were done with the percipitation for a few days. WRONG! I think Coos Bay & south on the coast is the only section of OR that wasn't hit with snow the last few days. It did try to snow for about 20 minutes Sunday night, then stopped. Our HS was the only one in the area open and lo and behold someone called in a bomb threat. My D was irriated, since she only has 2 classes at the HS (in college for rest) and it happened the last 15 minutes of 2 period. In her mind the closure didn't do a thing for her.
Anyway - Good luck with the christmas shopping...drive safe (meaning watch out for the other idiots on the road). I know we have a lot of black ice out yet this morning here. I took the afternoon off and am hoping to accomplish the last of my shopping too.
