Okay -
Posting under my anonymous identity to ask a question. (Most of you know me as an oldtimer here).

Things are not going well with H and heading towards a separation. I'll write more about that later.

My question today is this. I know that there is a new trend for men to be grooming their pubic hair. Have recently discovered H (late 40's) has been shaving his huevos.

Yes, I am well aware that this is high on the list of signs your H is having an affair. He adamantly denies same, says he learned his lesson last time. I think I believe him, but suspect he is in the "preparing to sleep with other women" phase and simply being honorable enough this time to get out first.

So I guess my question is - is this common? Is everyone out there doing this, or do most guys in their 40's and 50's still leave their pubic hair alone? (I know younger people are removing hair from almost everywhere). Are there genuine practical considerations (as my husband claims) other than sexual ones which make this worth doing? And am I the last person in America who thinks that all this attention to pubic hair is a sign of the decline of the empire????
