I did do a nice thing. I got my rum runners at the game, and they come in collectable football cups, and he was going to bring them home, I said, Do you want to take them home with you? He just looked at me odd, and I said, Aren’t there two kids where you are staying. He said yeah, I said would they like them? He said, I don’t know that they would appreciate them. I said Oh, well they are something I get excited about, so I figured kids would be excited about them. I said since I already have 4, you can take them if you like. He said, OK and did take them with him.

MT,
Thats very good to hear the "I love you."

Cautious optimism is what you need to keep holding on to.

It does sound like he is beginning to feel some emotion again. You will do very well if you can keep from getting your hopes up. This is such a hard road, but you are walking it with grace.

Keep warm!

Thanks guys, Oh yes, cautious optimism is what I am doing now, not getting too excited over anything. Just like the Chiefs, I needed more cautious optimism with them yesterday, Even some of the Charger fans were leaving because they thought they were done. Bet they were sad they didn't stay.
One thing that bothered me....the Chiefs players that were on the sideline, most of them were sitting on the heated benches, you know I am there freezing my arse off, and yelling supporting the team. Maybe they should have been standing up on the sidelines when the defense was on the field trying to stop San Diego. Instead of sitting on their butts watching from the heated benches. JMO

Wow MT, that's quite a temp variation. Did you at least have some Schnapps or something to keep you warm? Brrrr!

I don't do cold weather very well. I'd have to admit that I'd have been down on the heated benches myself, trying to snuggle up between 2 of those big players and cop some body heat, lmao!!

It's pretty cold in my office today. We have a strong cold wind and snow flurries. I have a Dr. appt. this afternoon, (check up with the radiologist) so I am looking forward to leaving early. Will probably try to work on the tree.

Keep your attitude up and give yourself a big hug.

Thanks Hope. It was funny the line at the bar was longest before the game and by half time, the hot chocolate line was the longest! I didn't drink that much yesterday just two, we were in the middle of the row, and I hated to have to climb over everyone each time I had to pee, alcohol is bad enough, but when you add in the cold I was having to go a bunch!

Enjoy your afternoon after the Dr., hope all goes well! We need to be getting our trees done so we can enjoy them not think about needing to do them! LOL!!

I got my final grades finally. Last week my one class had posted, and the second one finally did. I got 2 B's. I am very pleased with that, with as much as I was preoccupied this semester, I was a bit worried about my one class, but they turned out to both be good!

still enjoying the last several hours of my w/e here. then it is off to work. Work week is Mon evening - Friday eve (with tiny little carry over in to first thing Sat morn.)

I use the term "work" loosely. But this time of year is the closest I come to that. Peak season for the overnight pkgs of course from black Fri til New Years.
