Pretty uneventful night last night. H called me 3 times yesterday, on his way to work, at break, then after work. Said he was just driving around after work. I had to make tarts for a guy at his work so after the night when I fell asleep he said do you want me to call and wake you up so you can make the tarts? I said no I would be good.
I went and drove around looked at some Christmas lights, then took the lights off the tree....so I could start fresh this year. Had Christmas music blaring and then made the tarts, I had a good time anyway!
This morning H called on his way to work, I didn't talk long at all just told him I would meet him at the back gate to give him the tarts. I was very upbeat, even more than normal for me! LOL. I didn't stay long when I dropped off the tarts, he said his friend had asked about us going to the Chiefs game on Sunday, with him and his girlfriend. H said he would probably email me. I just said whatever he finds would be great, of if someone there doesn't want their's again. I was all smiles!
So I figured he might think since he didn't call last night I would be upset, but I wasn't.
Not that it is a step to where I really need to be yet, but before, I would have asked why he didn't call me last night.
Hope everyone has a great day today! Cold and sunny here, but they are calling for a BIG Ice storm Sunday - Tuesday. I so don't want that again. Not after last year at this time. At least I have a generator and gas isn't as expensive this year!
morning my girlies!! you did great MT!! so proud of you!! i know it might have been hard, but YOU did it! I dont want the weather either, the ice storm we had a few years ago, we were without power for ever and on a generator!

I agree, you did great. Way better than me last night, I just cried and cried and cried. It was the wounded animal being "birthed" out of me I guess. H took it like a man, held me, cried with me, apologized and basically stayed out of my way. He fixed me a drink and calmly picked up the coaster when I swept it off the end table.
Now I know that it's time for me to "cowgirl up" and get back on the DB wagon. Thanks for helping me my friends.

well, tornado warnings here right now. Always something fun. Decided to take day off. Means I'll work extra next week or the week after but that is ok. Just need to rest. H gets me into such a tizzy with his moods sometimes. Oh well. I'm feeling much better just a little tired.
Yes MT you did great. BG up early again, I just don't know what to say.......lol

LOL yes well i have to get up early to catch my girls on the threads lol. its ok to take a day off Kel, sheesh! dont make me yell at you lol! hope, at least your H let you do that, if I do that, he takes off, he cant "handle" seeing me that way. floridas getting tornados, parts of texas around houston got snow!

BG- I don't know how good it was, not like he called anyway, and I didn't have to answer, but at least he isn't thinking I was upset by him not calling. So baby steps for me!
oh mt i added some equipment too lol!! it was good because you didnt call him, you got things done and went on last nite, and today you were my perky dorthy again when you saw him! ThAT is all good!! to early to tell about today yet, it is cold, again yuck. should probably do housework today........dont know about that either lol.
