Last thread...last thread

Quick overview...

M 8 years
Wife has been having A's since 2006. I can't count the number!
Spent time in rehab in 2006..attempted suicide
9/15/08 she wants out after 3 A's in less than 30 days; all different men.
12/01/08 informs of new BF (OM) that she wants to introduce kids to. Took him to FIL's house for Thanksgiving.

Latest post from earlier tonight:

the W actually picked the kids up from school today and took them home. gave me some time to run some errands and sit in traffic (Yay!) She came home to help with some of the financials we need to settle before a D is filed.

Before we got started, I was making dinner and starting some laundry. I heard her talking to someone and not to a kid. She was on her cell phone in front of the kids. I asked who she was talking to;

she replied by name, "It's <OM>."
I asked her, "Do you mind?"

She told him that she had to go and she would call him later. Then she came to me and said "It's alright, he doesn't know where I'm at."

Me: I don't care about what he knows or doesn't know. It's completely disrespectful to talk to him in front of me and the kids in our home.
W: No response, she turned the convo into inane banter and talk about the Christmas presents.

So after we were done with the finances for the night; I asked her if she was going to stick around for a while. She said she was staying for a little bit.

Me: Then I'm going to Wal-Mart to buy the Millennium Falcon.
W: OH HELL NO, last time YOU went to WAL-MART; you were gone 2.5 hours.

Me: WTF? So what?
W: well I have to be outta here by 9:20 because I have to pick dysfunctional BFF from work. Her car is in the shop. A tree fell on it.

Me: Well, I'll see you later. Be back soon.

So I went to Wal-mart, bought the Millennium Falcon and then went to have a beer.

I came home, she left. So great that she loves watching the kids, NOT!!

Here are three responses afterward before the lock.

I wish I had something constructive to say. Unfortunately, all I can say is that I commend you on how well you handle these interactions. It is seriously impressive. Could you bottle that up and send it to the rest of us? ;\)

I hope you have a wonderful day tomorrow.

Take care, and God bless. I will remember you in my prayers tonight.

Hope it is not your last thread MC. Your contribution is great.

I wish I was as strong as you. Do you think that if I was, and I decided enough was enough , that my H wold have second thoughts ?

No, it's not my last thread... just a little out of context. I didn't mean for it to come across like that. I meant for it to say Previous thread.

I do believe, M, that if you were detached as I am; It may cause your H to have second thoughts.

I got a 2x4 from DQ and I tell you it made sense. It is all up to me, no magic button or pill, just me. I have had a fairly good day.

Long may it continue.

Certifiable.....seriously! She sees no problem with talking to OM on the phone in front of her H let alone her kids! I like what SMW said - alley cats have better morals.

I'm so sorry you are dealing with all of this horsechitt!

Hugs buddy.....from pokey!

OK, you will be Dad/Santa of the year! I sprang for the Lego X-Wing Fighter yesterday from lego.com. S has about fifteen different Star Wars Lego sets. I don't miss them being all over the living room carpet and stepping on pieces with my bare feet.

Mean to say, but too bad her and her loser brother weren't in it at the time!

Absolutely crazy! It is her world and we just live in it! Obnoxious. Inconsiderate. Rude.

{{Tom}} In all honesty, I was wondering if the Millenium Falcon was for you and NOT the kids until LE said something about the kids LOL \:D

Love Han Solo..and Chewbacca..they are cool and that "hunk of junk" got all of them pretty far into what like 25 movies? ;\)

Sitting in the dark, I can't forget.
Even now,I realize the time I'll never get.
Another story Of the Bitter Pills of Fate.
I can't go back again.
I can't go back again

But you asked me To love you and I did.
Traded my emotions For a contract to commit.
And when I got away,I only got so far.
The Other Me Is Dead.
I hear his voice inside my head
We were never alive, And we won't be born again.

But I'll never survive
With Dead Memories in my heart.

You told me to love you And I did.
Tied my soul into a knot And got me to submit.
So when I got away, I only kept my scars.
The Other Me Is Gone.
Now I don't know where I belong
We were never alive, And we won't be born again.

But I'll never survive
With Dead Memories in my heart.

Dead Visions in your Name.
Dead Fingers in my Veins.
Dead Memories in my Heart
