Hair loss too, huh? Any questions about that...I'm your girl! Lost about 1/3 of mine due to illness in 1985, then about half of it in 1989 (illness and surgery), then again in 1996 (more surgery) and again last fall (less major surgery, but the stress of my M sitch did NOT help at ALL).
Good news is....it's grown back every single time! It tends to grow back thicker, darker and curlier .
For a time there I was losing over 1000 hairs A DAY! (yes it is a tad compulsive, but I counted a couple of times...actually saved a 2-foot braid from fall-out #2).
My "fallouts" tend to last for several months, starting slowly, picking up speed, and then slowing down. I was scared as HELL the first time...but since I now KNOW it will come back, it's not so horrible.
Alas, now I have a corona of 3 inch long fuzzies that stick out all over if I don't slick it down!
