Steve..I think surprises like this are a nice touch. I've known her 9 years. We were both married at the time and faithful..now we are both divorced. I have no expectations either way..she is a great mother to 3 kids and has no support from her x husband at all. I see and have heard her struggles..She deserves to be treated well..just because she has been treated like chitt in the past..
I wanted her to have a few days of happiness and joy simply because I know she has not had either in a while. I had a really great time with her last night as I did the other night..it was very relaxed, very comfortable...not any 1st date nervousness at all..I felt honored and privileged that she accepted the invite to go with me last night to the concert.
The flowers where the least I could do..It made her day..it made me feel good to be able to bring her a little joy..
it was a win/win as far as I'm concerned..she is and has been a good friend to me no matter what else happens..
