H emailed me asking me where to drop off D for Religious Ed. I asked him if it's easier if I just pick her up from his parents and then asked if we're still meeting up while she's in class. I made it very casual sounding.
He replied saying it was fine that I pick her up and then said "I know you are going to think that I'm trying to push it off and that is not what I'm trying to do, but what would be the possibility of getting together this weekend to talk? The customer is leaving tomorrow afternoon and we still have a lot to get through before then, I really should get back here to work on this stuff for a bit and Ill also be in early tomorrow with them. Friday is the day that all of this will go away and will not have to worry about it any more, new roll will start with less stress and time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
I replied with "Why don’t you just stay at work and get what you need done then? No need to waste a couple hours driving in and out of town when you can see her in a few days anyway. As far as not meeting up again again, that’s fine. What happened to you sending me this letter instead of getting together since this is the outcome when we try to meet? I really have nothing to say, just planned on listening to what you have to say."
He'll probably take that reply as me being mad, and that wasn't my intention at all. I'm trying to make it easier on him and give him another way to communicate with me.
