He likes to have control. So he does things his way with you. He doesn't like it when you stand up for yourself, he usually becomes even more of a jerk.
Will the house you are moving to be alot smaller? I know we went to a real estate place when we wanted to rent a townhouse. Just gives you more ideas. You might want to stop by Snow White's thread, she had a rough day yesterday. She is back on here with us for the moment.

Yes, I think it'll be interesting to see what happens when I start dating someone. I think he will get more bothered than he thinks, maybe not loving me anymore, but losing that final bit of control or whatever. I probably will have to get a small place, although looking for a house b/c of my 70 pound mutt and you know D9 has meltdowns almost every day and wouldn't feel good making neighbors listen to our racket. But it'll be mine and the kids of course, so that will be cool. I called some real estate agents, and will call one the next little town over and will see if they have anything there.
Thanks for telling me about Snow. Sorry to hear she's having a rough time, but so glad she is posting again! I know I couldn't have survived this past year without DB, or at least I don't think as well anyway!!! Karen
