W wants to know my decision tonite re Hawaii. She was out of house as soon as I got home and now I am out of town with S13 at hockey. So rather than leave it, and rather than text, I call.
Me: W, I thought about what you suggested, but financially, given what is going on, Hawaii cannot happen.
W: ok we will present that as a unitied front. That is your decision.
Me; no W, it is not my decision, it is a consequence of what is happening.
W: no need to lay a guilt trip. I said we will present a united front.
Me: no guilt trip, it just is what it is.
W: you just did, and of course you couldn't do this in person.
Me: w, you are there and I am here (didn't get into the fact that she did that to me today at work anyway).
W: ok. Whatever
Geez. Oh well, it is done and over with and the TRUTH will rule the day! If it makes her feel guilty. Maybe a reason for that.

More blah blah blah today. W out with D11 and just called to see when S13 off to hockey. He says dad and I are leaving soon. So she asks to speak with me.
W: can I take S13 to hockey? Me: sure! I will stay with D11
W: were you going to call and discuss with me?
Me: I was waiting til you got home. S13 needs to be there by 8 so if you weren't here I was going to take him.
W: I was going to be home by 7:30.
Me: no problem, you can take him.
So W calls back 3 minutes later, talks to D16 who passes on a message to me to take S13 cuz she is tied up.
Like I said, blah blah blah.
Told D16 and S13 about Hawaii. They were GREAT about it. Couldn't tell them all together because of schedules. Now have to tell my little sweetheart (D11).
Off to hockey...

You are doing the right thing. Your W just wants a reason to be mad at you and is really pushing the communication thing. Maybe you should talk to her each morning about the activities for the day and ask her which she would like to do, then when she tries to throw it in your face you can say, W we discussed all of this earlier today remember!lol
