In my sitch, I have noticed that my W is VERY appreciative if I help her with teh kids. Now, before I get pelted with 2x4's, let me explain the conditions.
-She has to ask for the favor, I don't volunteer.
-I usually ask her to compromise, so if she wants me to take the boys on a day I normally don't, I say that I need to work later on the days that I don't need to pick them up from school. So she will need to pick them up and then bring them to the house at the time I can be there.
-I ask her to return the favor. SO when I have a party or whatever to go to on a day when I would normally have them, I ask her to take them.
I am currently faced with the question of whether or not to help my W financially. I know what Puppy thinks and I agree in principle, but I am fairly certain that my previous helping hands to my W have not been cheeseless tunnels, so I am still not certain.
